As a member of Sino-Global Legal Alliance, Tahota and Hogan Lovells jointly provided special legal service for the asset acquisition project of Cension Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (Cension) for Texas Instruments (TI) in March 2010. The legal service took half a year and the deal was completed in October 2010. For which Tahota lawyer team had received full affirmation and praise from TI.

TI, with its headquarter locating in Dallas, Texas, and manufacturing, design or sales organizations distributed in 25 countries, is a world-leading semiconductor enterprise providing innovative Digital Signal Processor and analog device technology for signal processing in the real world. This acquisition was the major strategic deployment for TI in carrying manufacturing business in China. The lawyer team led by lawyer Wen Wu, a partner of our firm , with the lawyer team led by lawyer Yunlong Man, a partner of Hogan Lovells, jointly participated in the due diligence, negotiation, talks and other work of the acquisition project and won the praise from the partner law firm with high efficient and positive attitude.
